The Mammal Chronicles (MC) is committed to providing open access to all published articles, ensuring unrestricted availability to readers worldwide. To support this open-access model and cover associated publication costs, Article Processing Charge (APC) of US $300 is applied to each accepted manuscript. This fee is invoiced to the corresponding author upon acceptance of the article. No additional charges are imposed for submission, page count, or color figures.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

In compliance with international tax regulations, transactions may be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) based on the author's location and institutional affiliations. Authors will be informed of any applicable VAT during the invoicing process.

Refund Policy

Once an article is accepted for publication, the corresponding author is responsible for the APC payment. Please note that APCs are non-refundable, as they cover the costs incurred during the publication process.

Waiver Policy

To support researchers with limited funding, the MC offers a transparent waiver policy. Authors who are unable to afford the APC may request a waiver during the manuscript submission process. Each request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure fair consideration.
