Plagiarism

Academia Publications employs advanced plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin and iThenticate to ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts. These tools are used to compare the submitted content against a vast database of academic and non-academic literature to identify potential overlaps, improper citations, or uncredited use of others' work.

Authors are encouraged to submit only original work that adheres to ethical publishing standards. Submissions with acceptable similarity levels, as determined by our editorial team, are forwarded for further processing. Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejection.

Actions Taken if Plagiarism is Detected

If plagiarism is identified at any stage—submission, peer review, or post-publication—the following actions will be taken based on the severity of the case:

  1. Before Acceptance:

    • The manuscript will be immediately sent back to the author(s) with a detailed report highlighting the plagiarized sections.
    • Authors will be required to revise and resubmit the manuscript within a specified timeframe, ensuring all plagiarized content is properly addressed or removed.
    • For severe cases of plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected outright, and the authors will be informed.
  2. After Acceptance or Publication:

    • The published article may be retracted, and a retraction notice will be published on the journal’s website, indicating the reason for retraction.
    • The authors’ institution(s) may be informed about the unethical behavior.
  3. Repeated Offenses:

    • Authors found engaging in multiple instances of plagiarism may face a ban from submitting to the journal in the future.

We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in publishing and ensuring that all manuscripts uphold integrity, originality, and proper attribution of ideas and research. Authors, reviewers, and editors are all expected to adhere to these principles to foster a trustworthy academic environment.
